Social Media Manager and Content Creator

Essential information:

  • Part time position (3 days)
  • Location: Flexible within Australia but Melbourne preferable
  • Salary range: $78,000-$90,000 + superannuation

Who you are:

Our Social Media Manager and Content Creator is an experienced, creative digital native who excels at social media content creation, social media management and paid social campaign management. You are excited and passionate about participating in creating a better vision for the future and have a strong interest in climate change solutions and social justice. You are an exceptional writer and visual communicator with experience running social media advertising and content marketing campaigns including day to day social media management. We want to push the boundaries, trial new and exciting ways of doing things and want you to bring your ideas to this.

As a Social Media Manager and Content Creator you will work across a number of our projects and impact campaigns, run paid media campaigns and also create content to support them. You'll need excellent communication skills, will be comfortable brainstorming and presenting ideas and you'll have a passion for staying on top of the latest content and social media trends.

You’ll have a keen interest and passion in climate and environmental justice issues.

You’ll also have at least 3+ years social media content creation and community management experience.

What you’ll do:

  • Contribute to a bold, compelling and inspirational strategy for Regen Studio’s social channels that will set us apart on social media focussing specifically on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Creation of social media content - creative (copywriting, graphics and video)
  • Content creation individually and in collaboration with the wider Regen Studios team Day to day
  • Manage all aspects of social media content and campaign activity across all channels including – paid and organic social,
  • Contribute to content for other communication platforms as necessary such as copywriting for web and eDM.
  • Help drive our social media growth strategy and competitor analysis
  • Day to day community management and outreach and responding to audiences across all social channels
  • Report on campaign engagements, conversions, traffic, ROI and other key metrics quarterly.

The experience you’ll bring:

  • Demonstrable experience (3+ years) as a social content creator and manager on multiple brands, communications and campaigns
  • Demonstrable experience in content creation especially for TikTok, graphic design in Canva and Figma, campaign and social media planning
  • Demonstrable social media video editing skills
  • Curious about what makes people act and think the way they do with a skill for extracting actionable insights from a wide range of research techniques
  • Creative copywriting skills and ability for writing captivating, highly shareable and attention-grabbing content
  • A positive team player with the ability to work successfully autonomously and in a team environment
  • Strong knowledge of social marketing techniques and trends including how to set up, run and optimise paid social advertising.
  • Ability to use social media management and scheduling tools
  • Experience with community management including moderation, risk management and issue escalation.
  • Strong familiarity with digital collaboration tools.
  • Basic photo editing skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail and highly organised
